President and Chief Technology Officer Named At Geneva Aviation
Tuesday, June 19, 2007 - Aviation audio and video specialist Geneva Aviation has named Steve Joseph as President and Steve Cudnofskey as Chief Technology Officer.
Joseph takes over as Geneva expands to meet the increasing aviation electronics requirements of law enforcement agencies and electronic newsgathering outlets in the U.S. and abroad. He comes to Geneva with more than 30 years of aviation experience, including more than 15 years in engineering management and engineering flight test. His efforts in recent years have focused on directing product design and FAA certification activities.
Cudnofskey, a system designer, quality assurance manager and technician with more than 25 years of industry experience, has worked at Geneva since 1997. "Steve's skill at successfully integrating complex electronic components into the tight confines of modern helicopters has contributed to Geneva's recent successes," said Jeff Shapiro, president of DART Helicopter Services, Geneva's parent company.
"The addition of these industry veterans is vital to the future of Geneva," Shapiro said. "Geneva has established itself as an expert company in the field of electronics application design, integration and installation and the company's work is expanding rapidly. Geneva recently announced the building of an advanced development center and headquarters building here. That facility, which will house a development, engineering and prototyping center, will open in early July.
"The electronic, communications and broadcast systems used by airborne law enforcement and broadcast ENG operators is increasingly sophisticated," Shapiro said. "Geneva will continue to pioneer the design and integration of these complicated systems under the leadership of this solid team."
DART Helicopter Services acquired Geneva Aviation in December 2006.
