Geneva Aviation was founded in 1985 by an accomplished high tech electronics design engineer, after having sold the electronics company that he had founded 14 years previously. In the 19 years since Geneva was founded, Geneva has established a worldwide market for high tech aviation products. The future of Geneva Aviation Inc. is now even stronger as a new member of the DART Helicopter Services family of companies.

Several helicopter manufacturers routinely install Geneva products at their factories. While the original product focus was on the helicopter market, most products can be installed in any type of aircraft. The US government has installed Geneva's products into large military airplanes. Other customers have installed Geneva's products into airplanes as well.

Geneva's modular design approach allows new products and new applications to be produced quickly by using existing modules in a new configuration. This building block approach is especially valuable given the long lead times for FAA approval. This modular approach also makes worldwide field support easy to implement, as the customer can swap modules themselves.

The modules operate from the normal aircraft DC power bus, over the voltage range of 10VDC to 30VDC. The modules use minimal power, allowing them to be added to an aircraft without power concerns. Geneva's modules communicate with each other over an efficient two-wire data link.

Geneva also has many products that are not high tech electronics, such as aircraft seats, cowlings, instrument panels, equipment mounting racks, avionics consoles, switch consoles, and other products.

All Geneva products have FAA approval in the form of STC's and PMA approvals. Geneva's Satellite Telephone and Radio Transmitters also have FCC approval.

Geneva's high tech digital electronics products all make extensive use of microprocessors for control. The modules can be easily reprogrammed in the field by the customer when new features are desired.
